I love this school. Its a charter school. So its like a free private school. It's a privilege not a right to attend. Children are expected to be on their best behavior so class time is not wasted. Vista/Willis is ranked in the top 10% of schools in Texas. Not all Vista campuses are the same. I can only speak for Willis location. A few of my kids classmates have left to return to public school over the years. When able to ask the parents why, the answer is overwhelmingly the same. They say their child wanted to leave to participate in competitive team sports in public school. Vista/Willis has a PE program but no competitive sport teams. Personally, my children's academic future and quality of classmates is far more important to us than their participation in team sports. It is great to have an option to public and home school. My only complaint, there is no high school. I hear talk of an associated high school starting in the next few years.
