Provided by YP.comOMG, who wrote those bad reviews !! ????
I had a problem with my Jack failure and SHADOW warranty recommended I drive 89 miles to J & S. I arrived, they went to work on my warranty claim. The manual hand crank jack had gearbox failure. They could replace, I opted to upgrade to hydraulic..... OMG..... key word.... PROFESSIONALISM.... they had the old off and new installed, factory-grade wiring and out-the-door in less than 6 hours. That complaint about safety inspections ?? 3/4 of way thru service I saw a tech messing with my wheels... answer... YES, company policy is to safety-check the wheel torque and air pressure.
I'm in the maintenance trades (after 20 years US Navy aviation maintenance).... my bill was hefty.... but exactly spot-on for the equipment.
Was I satisfied ?? TWO WEEKS and I was back .... 89 miles to have G & S install a boarding ramp on my SHADOW PRO trailer. AGAIN.... professionalism was right up there (and I was a QA inspector in Navy)..... THREE HOURS (7:59 AM to 10:59 AM) and I was back on road.
And this time.... their SAFETY INSPECTION found a tire that had lost tire pressure in those two weeks.... and TECH's saved me a brand new tire (no sarcasm or smart ass accusations... nail was under tire... and found when I hooked-up and rolled forward. so it wasn't staged.
Like I said... I watched the workmanship.... TWO-for-TWO.... AWESOME professionalism.
I don't know them from a hole-in-the-ground... but SERVICE WISE.... they came thru TWICE
They talked-the-talk and grade 100 on walking-the-walk 5 stars hands-down !!!

Provided by YP.comMy daughter took a horse trailer in for inspection. They charged her $99 for the inspection. That should have been a red flag right there, as most places will inspect for free. They proceeded to repair other items without her authorization which she grudgingly paid.
Two days later, I went out to the barn and saw the trailer for the first time. One of the tires was low on air. I filled it up and put soapy water on it and discovered a major leak around the valve stem. Upon further visual inspection, I saw that the tire was severely cracked and dry-rotted and had a 2006 manufacture date. It was 10 years old, so even though the tread looked good, the sidewall was cracked and the tire was an obvious safety hazard. I walked around to look at the other side, and discovered one of the other lug nuts was so loose that I took it off by hand. If they missed those obvious flaws, I wonder how well they inspected the brakes and bearings. We went back a week later and talked to the owner and he seemed embarrassed at his crew's shoddy workmanship. He compensated her with a new tire and for that I am thankful. Still, I cannot believe that the Shadow trailer manufacturer recommended this place.

Provided by YPmobileI traveled yesterday from Aiken SC to Black Prong Equestrian in Bronson Fl, on the way down my trailer had a major vibration, I called them Friday around noon time and explained my problem and I would be leaving Sunday, they told me to bring it right over and checked it out. I had a fantastic experience dealing with Shawn, Guido, and Josh, they took care of the issue sat hand and charged a very reasonable price!! I would highly recommend them for any issue you may have with your horse trailer!
