If you are looking for a bible-focused church in the Willits area that teaches along the lines of John MacArthur, this is the place for you. Most Sundays, Chuck's sermons will be about a verse or two in a book of the Bible. The goal of every sermon is to glorify God. Currently, the church is working its way through the book of Ephesians and should complete this book very soon. The worship consists of bible reading, hymns and contemporary songs with guitar and acapella singing. The church has Bible Studies 4 days a week., including a shockingly effective parenting class. Communion is taken once a month. Volunteers go to the local Northbrook Nursing Home once a month. A church pot luck is held after the service once a month. This church consists of a warm group of believers of all ages and the number of men who attend are about equal to the number of women who attend. Men are encouraged to be strong, intelligent and God-centered. This is not a women's social group type of church. Many people take notes during the sermons and review these after the service. The service is held in a modest children's art room in the local Blosser Lane Elementary School building.
