I visited Firenza showroom the week of July 15, 2012...the week following their Grand Opening. I was VERY impressed and even more impressed when Jon Fimiani came to my home to measure for new countertops. Jon said he and his brothers are the 4th generation of an Italian family of stone workers. After a couple weeks of having not heard from them with a quote for the job, I called Debbie at their store to make sure they had my correct email address. They did. She said I should have gotten the quote within 24 - 48 hours. She said she would make sure Jon got my message. Another week went by and I called their store and talked with Jon. He said they had computer problems but I would have the quote within 24 hours. It is November 2nd and I have not heard one word from them. I emailed John Lanigan, WMJI morning DJ who promotes Firenza and sent a copy to Firenza. I still got no response.



I was complaining about Firenza Stone to the dental assistant at my dentist’s office. She said she knew someone who could help me. She provided me with Jayme O’Brien’s business card from O’Brien Cut Stone in Solon. I immediately got an appointment with Jayme, he came to my home to access what I wanted and in less than 24 hours I had a written quote via email. I went to their showroom and completed my selections for quartz countertops, backsplash and sink. Orders were placed and dates set for installation. There was a tear out and install completed in less than two days and everything on budget.



The backsplash I wanted was on display at Firenza Stone. I took a sample of quartz from O’Brien’s with me to the Firenza Showroom. The cabinetmaker gentleman asked if I could use some help. I relayed to him everything I went through and he said that certainly should not have happened. He got my name, address and phone number. I still have never heard from them.



O’Brien Cut Stone has been in business since 1925, founded by Jayme’s grandfather. I could not be more pleased with the professionalism, courtesy and installation of everything in my kitchen.
