This place is an absolute joke, way overpriced (1650.00) for horrible facilities. The owner is rude as could be. Mold everywhere , bird feces on the chairs and tables in the reception area. Owner did not come through on items he was to supply for the wedding. Found out that the testimonials on his website were self created by him . Do not rent his facilities from him, as he is a scam artist! Bride area is simply a hallway, the toilet flooded prior to reception as the owner told people that he couldn't get it fixed, used tampon wrappers all over the place (they were definitely there prior to us using the facilities). Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!

The place looks charming and we got great photos, but it was not worth the rediculous way we were treated. The owner kept telling me how things should be done, how to set things up, who to have as a caterer, who to rent stuff from. things that he had no buisness putting input about. He was overly opinionated by far and he steped over his boundrys too many times. He tried using my wedding as advertisement for his wine, tried selling wine bottles at my reception with out even asking my about it, stole my cake, stand and servers. when i went to pay for the wine being served at the reception he got mad and informed me they never took credit cards had i had no idea till then. I dont ever carry checks or much cash with me so i couldnt pay and promised him id put a check in the mail the very next morning. i payed everthing eles via mail on time up till that piont so there was no reason for him to wait till i was changing out of my dress at the end of the night to go and steal my stuff without letting us know anything about it. he told he everything was taken out to our cars and he lied right to my face. we were 4 hours late to our honeymoon cause we couldnt find our cake (to freeze) or our stand that we had to drop off at the bakery. our best man went to the winery and the guy said he was holding the stuff for ramsom till he gets his money.(which like i promised had already been taken to the post office). the guy was so mean and disrespectful to our best man. we did get the cake stand back but they kept ourcake top for theirselves. EVERYONE knows the bride and groom keep the cake top. that was a big no no on there part! my husband was unhappy with the dungeon in there over 100 years old basement they call a grooms quarters. The owners didnt let me see the "room" before i booked the venue for some reason i forget but now we know why. I also just talked to my cousin who knows someone who had a wedding there and complained of similar problems. i wish i would have known more about this place and owners befor i booked id still have my 115$ cake top! Plus no place should use a persons wedding as buisness advertisement its tacky.
