We had our wedding here in May of 2013. We wanted a casual, non traditional wedding that wasn't going to require us to take out a loan. The barn was everything we needed it to be and more. I am originally from Chicago and my husband from Detroit but we both live in L.A. now. Michael was more than accommodating to us when we were in town and needed to meet with him to go over everything. He always took time out to sit down with us make sure we got our needs met. We had both our ceremony and reception here. We had some specific requests in terms of table placement and decorating things and Michael made sure he had it all taken care of.



It is a barn and we let our guests know we were having a barn wedding. Telling them all to dress casual and not to wear heals. Everyone drank out of mason jars the whole night. We were very DIY, to save even more money, so all decorating was on us but Michael had some staff around while setting up to help put it all together.



We did bring in our own DJ and our own cupcakes (instead of a cake) but the barn did the catering and the food was incredible! It was served buffet style and the DJ called out table numbers to get everyone up and to the food table. The wait staff and bartenders were great and always seemed to milling about in case we needed something. Michael was also there the night of and consistently checked in with me or my husband to make sure we were having a great time.



We had an arrangement with a hotel nearby that ran a shuttle to and from the venue so parking wasn't really an issue for us. However, there were attendants there in case we did have people driving in.



We have so many amazing pictures that we took around the grounds with family, friends and the bridal party. We jumped into the goat pen and took pictures with the goats, took pictures in the little outhouse, near the horses.



This venue might not be for everyone but if you want a non stuffy, non traditional wedding this is a great place for it and you won't break your back trying to pay for it! If you'd like to see pictures of anything let me know! I can send them along.

I went to a wedding at the barn and was shocked. The food was disgusting, the service was terrible! You had to pay for drinks before 7. The plates were plastic! The chairs were falling apart. Worst of all, I didn't eat any of the dinner because all the potatoes were rotten!!!! Poor horses can't sleep because of the noise! Save your money people, this place is gross!

One of the best nights of our life! I hosted a surprise 40th birthday party for my wife at "The Barn" on Saturday, December 8th and not only was my wife surprised, but it definitely ranks in one of the top 5 moments of her life. And, it couldn't have been better than the hospitality and venue space of "The Barn." The event was a black-tie masquerade and I brought in 3 casino gaming tables (blackjack, craps, roulette) with dealers (use Jokers Wild Entertainment [www.jokerswildentertainment.net], they are phenomenal!). The venue cost was extremely low cost in comparison to other venues in the area and so, so, so much cooler. Just about every guest was dying to know how I found such an amazing, unique venue like "The Barn." Mike, the venue manager, was incredibly hospitable and went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of and helped out with all of the Audio/Visual. Mega big screens everywhere, DJ booth, arcade games, fascinating fish tanks, double baggos, dance floor...I can't say enough how incredible this venue is and how much fun all of our guests had, especially my wife. Thank you to everyone at "The Barn"—can't wait to have another party there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE THAT WANTS TO HAVE A MEMORABLE NIGHT, AT A GREAT COST.

YOUR WORNG AGAIN MIKE ! My wife was CRYING because 3 days before the wedding YOU BROKE a signed contract and she had to CANCLE SOME OF THE THINGS WE WANTED then YOU STLL CHARGED US $1,600 MORE THE NIGHT OF ! SHAME ON YOU !!! THE TRUTH DOES COME OUT THE ONLY PERSON THAT GIVES YOU 4 STARS IS YOURSELF ON HERE YOUR NAME IS ABOVE THE STARS ON POST 4/18/12,4/19/12 HOWS THAT FOR THE TRUTH !!!

I recently had my wedding and reception here and let me tell you this place is awsome. The owner was concious of our needs and was extremely helpfull. The staff was amazing and catered to all of our needs. There multi media DJ Patrick was awsome and new how to get the crowd going. They were able to handle all of our requests and if the did not have it they downloaded it for us. We also ordered food from there onsite catering service and boy was I supprised by how good it was. My husband is a huge bbq rib guy and we both agree it was by far the best ribs we have ever had. Almost wish they had a resturant. This place is so unique and a beautifull place to take pictures. My husband and I were also able to take a picture with one of there horses. There prices were also another deal maker. We searched for months to find a venue that fit our budget and Mike and AKF exceeded our expectations and saved us over $9,000 compared to other places like akf and more upscale places. All pricing is on the website so you know exaclty what you are paying for Over all a great place. I highly recomend this place. All of our attendies are still raving about this place and the great time they had.

BEWARE PEOPLE ALL HE WANTS IS YOUR MONEY NOT FOR YOU TO HAVE A GOOD TIME !!!! Its sad how the OWNER is the only one to give 4 stars NOT the COSTOMERS !!!! What a CREEP !!! If he TREATED PEOPLE FAIR he would not have to LIE on here to hype up his business more like 30 years of B.S !

We considered this place for our wedding reception. The "Barn" is actually a pretty cool venue. However, there were some problems.

One, their liquor and food prices were VERY high compared to other comparable facilities. (Who charges an extra $1.5 per person for Mostaccioli??) Two, there is a large immovable DJ booth on the stage area.

Though my fiance thought the owner seemed nice (I got a slightly skeevy vibe from him), he did not return our call when we requested to negotiate the price.

For some reason though, two months later he felt it appropriate to start calling 2 or more times a week for the next many months to make sure we were "still interested". Even after no return calls, he just kept calling. Honestly, I wish I never gave him my phone number.

To see a band, I would go there. For anything else - find another place.

I am not at all surprised by the other review about him changing the price only days before their reception...

If you are looking for a barn to board your horse, take lessons or lease this is probably one of the best barns out there. All of the staff are really friendly and also your fellow horse lovers. Arabian Knights knows that your horse's well being comes first and are prepared to bend over backwards to help you. This is just a great barn and I defenetly recomend it :)

We had a signed contract but three days before are reception they said we owed another $2,600 for a mistake THEY MADE so we had to cancel some of the options we wanted then the night of they still charged us $1,600 still to a MISTAKE THEY MADE, the DJ IGNORED the play List my wife made so every half hour I had to tell him to play off the list she made. It nice to know they could CARE LESS about a signed contract NO BRIDE should have to go through this just a few day before her big day, my wife is still upset seem like a SCAM to me
