I just love the old-fashioned, relaxed feeling you get at the Jackson Inn like you are at home, or visiting a friend. The cheese steaks are awesome with Fred's Secret Sauce and you can find a wide range of people frequenting there of all ages. When they have bands play the place can be packed with room to dance. In the summer they sometimes fire up the grill to cook up the latest catch in the outdoor seating area. This is the kind of place for friendly people to come as they are, not fancy. The hours are different than the ones listed. I think that they open at 3pm now Tuesday through Saturday and go until 1. Oh, also, there's a package store attached on the side, which is actually the original restaurant that THE Andrew Jackson had visited. It kind of reminds me of the bar from the tv show, Cheers.
