Established in 1924, Richardson Park Elementary School is one of the oldest functional public schools in Delaware. It supports various before- and after-school child care programs. Richardson Park Elementary School maintains a parent-teacher association that conducts monthly meetings and organizes various events and activities for the overall development of the school. The school operates a library media center that offers a collection of more than 5,000 books on various topics, including animals, biographies, mysteries, fantasy, humor and adventure. Located in Wilmington, Del., Richardson Park Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade and is a part of the Red Clay Consolidated School District.
