Provided by YP.comThe man running this firm has lied to me and about me. In addition he has wasted my time by quoting on a job and then not following through. His BBB rating appears to be F. My advice, do not go near this company unless you want to be cheated. He appears to me to be mentally unstable.

Provided by YPmobileWith winter approaching, I contacted my warranty company for service. I received a call from Tri-Atate Mechanical. The owner of the company checked out my system, explained the problems and the work required, with options. When Mr. Nardo left, I checked out his company. I have to admit, I was very surprised by the negative comments, but to be safe, I had two independent estimates done. One contractor's price was 30% higher, without any options, the other suggested a whole new system. Mr. Nardo did the work. He walked me through the process, explained what and why, and completed the jib efficiently and very professionally. My system runs beautifully. Honestly, I wouldn't have anyone but Mr. Nardo of Tri-State Mechanical!

Provided by YP.comI recommend Dan Nardo's Tri State Mechanical Services highly and with confidence. I first encountered this quality and very prompt company through my home warranty service AHS. My Centeral Air unit was defected and Dan Nardo replaced my unit. I have had several issues since and I request Tri State Mechanical for all of my plumming and A/C and Heating issues. Tri State Mechanical and Dan Nardo are my number one choice in this area. Prompt, courteous and experience service with a wonderful smile.

Provided by YP.comAll the reviews associated with this ad have been true. My experience started off well; very responsive, communicated. And then things went terribly wrong REALLY fast. And i also worked through my home warranty company. Unfortunately they sided with the contractor and not the paying customer. I was charged $200 for a permit and $200 for disposal. After consulting with various HVAC companies in the area and an HVAC Friend - all confirmee that disposal costs should be $0 or very, very small. And secondly - I never physically saw a permit and no one came to inspect the work from L&I (Licenses & Inspections Dept) that issue the permits. Not to mention a permit at minimum could cost $60. The guy is a conartist for sure...he came and went from my house and did work when i wasn't even there. Not to mention my friend had to come out anyway to supply additional Freon to the system because an inadequate amount was initially installed. Please be careful and do more research before hiring.
Miss Reppa was upset with our company only after the condencer was ordered She had a claim threw her Warranty Co. She was aware of the NON COVER items in her policy , an agreed to pay them This is spelled out clearly in her policy Some policies the costomer does't pay anything since She chose the least expensive policy she is responsible for thease costs there was nothing shady on our end we only did what the warranty company directed us to do she changed her mind to pay the none covered cost after her unit was ordered they also gave her the option for a BUY OUT but she didnot want it. IF her Unknown frend tuched the AC she has no coverage on it inless he is licence in the city of wilmington Again if you are upset with the operation of the condencer after paying this money I am sure she would have complained about that also an as far an her consulting other HVAC contractors abouth thease cost she should have taken the buyout and let them do it What she fails to mention to change out her condenser threw her warranty co she saved $ 4000.00 Never the less I respect her right to voice her oponion but after all the facts are in I don't agree with her

Provided by YP.comLike the other reviewer, our home warranty contacted this (so-called) company for a repair/replacement. The owner came out to assess the situation. He was a friendly guy, but I had an uneasy feeling about him as I read the other two reviews. I tried to transfer my claim to another company, but the home warranty provider said they couldn't because he already accepted the job. Nonetheless, to make a very long story short. This dude padded the bill. Not only did we have to pay our deductible, but he wanted us to pay an additional $760.00, of which the home warranty provider would NOT cover. He was charging us $200.00 for a permit and $200.00 for disposal, plus some other bogus fees. I contacted the New Castle County Government Center and they said the permit is $60.00 NOT $200.00 AND when I contacted IDS (trash service), they said, it would not cost us anything to dispose of it since they allow one one bulk item. The guy is a fraud; he is looking to take advantage of anyone to get a dollar. STAY AWAY!!!
If you have a home warranty contract, ask for the name of the service provider first. Do your research by doing a search under the name of the company and/or owner. If you see reasonable ratings then accept the company as your repair service. We decided to pay more for a license professional to do the job. We felt at peace paying more to a reputable business.
I'm going to invoke my right to share my negative customer service experience with 10 or morepeople.
Our company respondes to her to repair her Ac when I called the call in to the warranty company tey decieded to replace her condencer out side at that time she was told that her polcy had Non covered items She was aware of them an agreed to pay them the unit was ordered and installed when It came time to pay she refused , but finally did pay Yes cost of a permit is $60.00 BUT the licens is $ 600.00 BOND $ 250.00 AND INSURANCE IS $ 4500.00 PER YEAR her trash man are not permited to AC equiptment because it has freon in it The warranty Co offered her a buyout she refused it all thease items were up front there was NO fraid I have been in business for over 40 years only to find that people like her do exhist

Provided by YP.comDO NOT USE
Danny Took 2 1/2 weeks to do absolutely nothing except try to demand money for repairs he did not make.
He was assigned to use by our home warranty if this happens to you demand someonelse be sent.
We understand that who is thisis is upset that his repairs took longer then expected , but it is a process frist the tech has to visit the home see what problem exhist then call it in to the Warranty Co an get aproval from the warranty Co, if the customer has coverage parts are ordered then the repairs are made , the customer has the option to recieve a buy out and have the repairs made on the own by a Licence contractor , you can"t take the money an run , the reason Cash is recieved on some calls is because If the customer doesn't understand there coverage they choose to write a check and then stop it. Not all customers pay up front only the people who who don't understand the policy they bought there are several different policies , most beople buy th least expensive an expect it to cover everthing but unfortnally it doesn't

Provided by YP.comThis company is horrible. They will ask for money up front, start your job and not finish. Then you will have to take them to court and spend thousands more to not recover but maybe a small portion of your money. Don't believe it? Look at their office in the heart of crack infested neighborhood of Wilmington. Do yourself a favor and get a real responsible company that will finish the work. Its worth the extra money. Avoid this company like the plague. Beware! You have been warned.
We understand that pablo130 is upset but he has an insuranc polcy with a waranty Co that He purchased, the waranty Co will make repairs if the customer has coverage , that is based on the POLCY THAT hE PURCHASED as in his case his claim was denied . so there is no reason for us to return to his home , what he is refering to is his trade fee that he pays when the tech arrives at his home this is spelled out Clearly in his policy that it is due . But I do agree with him that My shop is located in a crack area , only because people like HIM come there to buy there dope there
