I have been a patient at Family Vision Clinic of Wilmington for 3 years, and have been satisfied with my care untill my most recent visit.

When I made my appointment I was very clear that all I wanted was the basic eye exam.

The Dr. took it upon herself to perform a contect lense fitting on me, without letting me know what she was doing, or asking me if I desired one. I was unaware this service was performed untill I was paying the bill and saw that I was charged for it.

I questioned the office manager about this charge, and reminded her that I never requested the service, nor was I asked about it before ( or after) it was performed. She told me that since the Dr. did it I had to pay for it.

I find this to be an extremely dishonest, and unfair buisness practice.

It is a shame that they are willing to lose a regular patient in thier attempt to trick someone into paying for extra services to boost revenue.



I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE LOOKING FOR VISION SERVICES FIND ANOTHER PROVIDER!
