I got a chance to go on a Black River Nature Cruise offered by the Cape Fear Riverboats and it was an amazing experience. I am a local photographer so for me it was a perfect opportunity to get some photos graphs of wildlife in this area. I was actually surprised to see a few deer along the way as well as an osprey perched on its nest and of course a bunch of marsh birds. It was such a cool tour and listening to the narration by a very passionate local ecologist made it that much more fun.If you get a chance to get out of the downtown and see a different side of Wilmington, do it. This is a great tour and well worth the price of admission!
