I'm 60, and my only regret is I can't have Oliver Hodgkiss as my primary care physician :) He's helped me with several issues over the last year, the most recent being serious wound care. Even the surgeon he referred me to after he got my health to turn the corner complimented the job he did. Didn't need anything from that Dr. after Oliver's work. Great personality, makes things easy to understand, explains your options if needed, I'd give him 10 stars if I could. The rest of the team there is great as well. All very kind, courteous, and helpful.

Oliver was great with helping my son with a pilonidal cyst which is very painful, he was able to ease his fears and treat him with great care and quickly too.

I've been in and out of the convenient care in porters neck pretty frequently through the years. Everytime I've been in it's been an excellent experience with doctor Hodgkiss. He takes his time to explain everything to you and really helps.

My husband has had relentless, severe vertigo for 14 days. We'd been to the ER twice and our PCP sent a referral to NHRMC Neurology who told us it could be up to 10 days before we were given an appointment and when we did, it would be six or eight weeks before we could get in. When the PCP suggested we go to WH Convenient Care, we weren't really expecting a lot. (Just like there's a difference between Walmart and Harris Teeter, there's a difference between walk-in clinics and established medical doctor group offices. Or so we thought.)

Little did we know Oliver Hodgkiss would turn out to be a total game-changer! He was friendly, caring, thorough, knowledgeable, PLUS experienced. He listened to us, asked good questions, took time to go beyond the obvious symptoms to a detailed level, performed a very complete, professional exam and ordered appropriate tests. But wait, it gets even better: Oliver Hodgkiss went above and beyond being super competent -- he got NHRMC to make an appt for my husband in nine days and gave savvy advice on how to cope with the vertigo at home. Finally, he gave us a clear idea of what to expect as we go forward.

We went from feeling tense, exhausted and discouraged from trying to get suitable care to relieved and optimistic in the short time it took from our arrival to our departure!!!

Does my husband still have severe vertigo? Yes, but thanks to Oliver Hodgkiss, we feel better able to handle this situation. It's so encouraging to know that people practicing medicine at high levels like Oliver Hodgkiss are accessible at "not just another" walk-in clinic!!!

Who wants to go to the doctor on a sunny Saturday? Dreading the anticipated wait-time, I walked in with my child, had a strep test, and walked out 30 minutes later. The staff was great!

Friendly, caring and very knowledgeable. Was great help to my sick daughter and explained everything thoroughly.

Oliver Hodgkiss has been my health care provider at the urgent care clinic I go to. I went in for severe pain in my knee and he sent me to the nearest ER because he suspected a blood clot. His diagnosis was correct and I am very thankful for his knowledge and intuitive nature. He has a great bedside manner and always makes an unpleasant trip to the doctor very bearable. I trust him completely.
