I have known St. Matthew's since we became members in 1977. We have been members ever since, and it is our church home. We love the present pastor Sam Zumwalt, who makes our church family a loving, caring, strong group of believers. We are lucky to have Pastor Sam, his wife Laura and their daughter Claire. For me it was like prayers answered, when Pastor Sam became our Pastor, because he is fluent in German, my home language!

We have recently moved to be closer to grandchildren. But St. Matthew's Lutheran Church will always have a special place of our hearts, where our grandson and our second grandson were baptized.
