upset

My husband had triple by-pass surgery three weeks ago. We consulted with his surgeon before keeping his appointment today. He informed us that it would probably be a 30 min appointment and that he would be ok that long. We arrived at our 9:00 am appointment at 10 til. After a 45 min wait he was called back to the treatment room. Knowing that I was concerned about the time he called me from the treatment room and assured me that he was sitting down and was ok. He was very pleased with the treatment of the professional staff however when he attempted to check out the asian young lady would not take his number to call him back for an appointment. He offered to call her back and again she refused . The computers were down and she insisted on forcing everyone checking out to wait until she could get into the computer. I finally asked someone at the counter if she could speed up the process and explained my husband's condition. She immediately asked the young woman to just write

Freindly Receptionist

I was with my father at an appointment he had to attend at Polley Clinic in Fayetteville a few weeks ago. He had a follow-up appointment a few days ago what a wonderful experience we had at both visits. My father at his age forgot is insurance information. The receptionist Tanisha at the front desk was so friendly & able to help us in getting his insurance faxed from his primary doctor. She was so BUSY at both times we met her, but made us feel like we were the only people she had to help those days when she was being pulled in so may directions by so many patients. She handles that desk so well. I can tell they would be very lost with her. All medical clinics need a clone of her working at their front desk greeting patients as they come & go. Love the name tags everyone wears in the clinic!!!!!!

annoyed and venting

Let me start off by saying that the P.A.'s and nurses in this office are great. They're friendly and extremely helpful and it's a shame they work where they do.Now for the reality...no matter when I went there were always a ton of people in the waiting room. Today when I was leaving there were about 10 people more than there were seats...that should tell you something. If you think your visit will be fast guess again. I got in 15 minutes before my appointment thinking they would get me in sooner...I was wrong. My appointment was at 9:30 and I was finally called back at 9:50 (35 minutes after my arrival). This is absolutely the norm...I have arrived right on time and have waited 45 minutes to be seen. The nurse took my stitches out (not even the P.A.) and then I waited 10-15 minutes more for the P.A. to see me. I finally left the office at 10:30 after what should have been a 15-20 minute visit. I'm VERY displeased and annoyed!!!!!
