I am thrilled to have found Brandywine and Dr. Catherine Deans. I adopted a rescue dog from an "unknown" rescue group and immediately took her to a different practice. On the first visit, I complained that she appeared to be a very "itchy" dog, but they didn't seem to take me seriously. I took her back 2 other times for follow ups and booster shots and they still didn't check into her skin condition. Finally, after my pupply had chewed giant raw spots on her hip and legs, this "other" clinic suggested allergy tests, allergy shots, allergy medication ad nauseum that was going to cost lots of money. One very thorough visit with Dr. Deans suggested the allergy tract may not be the way to go. Guess what? It wasn't allergies at all, but a form of mange. Dr. Deans treated my Lily and she is now good as new and my bank account is not depleted! I couldn't be happier! The office staff is also very courteous and friendly.
