When my husband and I go on a date night, we love to choose the Boathouse in the summer. In fact, for the past couple of years we've made it a tradition to go on the second night they open (its a little quieter than opening night!) and sit at the bar and try some of the new menu items! The staff is always so friendly and happy to be starting a new season. It is nice to see the familiar faces of the workers from pervious years.

We ordered the Poblano pepper, as we do every time we go, the Meatball and Salad, and Calamari to start! If you have not, you need to try each of these! All of them are to die for. I cannot say enough about the meatballs! Despite wanting to order my absolute favorite, the Pot Roast Burger...a MUST try....I got the BH Burger and husband ordered the Smoked Gouda and RRP Fettuccine. Both were new to the menu, and we were glad that they were! So yummy!! We've also gone back and tried the Philly Steak Sandwich and Fish Fry and both were delicious. 

If you enjoy music, they have great bands all weekend long and there are always people there dancing and having a good time! Every time I go both inside and outside bars a packed with people! It is a pretty social place to be. So I suggest checking out the band schedule and making the trip to Wilson. You won't be disappointed!!

Summer is really the best time to go here when you can enjoy eating outside but the food is good here anytime of year.
