Established in 1971, Middlebrook School serves more than 1,000 students in grades six through eight. The facility features a library and media center, book store, cafeteria, music room and computer laboratory. Its curriculum includes language arts, remedial reading, geometry, and fine and applied arts. The school also offers classes in family and consumer sciences and health, life skills and technology education. It provides a range of sports activities, such as badminton, basketball, football, volleyball, soccer and hockey. In addition, it offers clubs, such as world languages, drama, photography, knitting, clay and computer clubs. The school organizes field trips to educational destinations and museums. It also conducts various programs, including adult education, after-school enrichment, child care and summer learning programs. Located in Wilton, Conn., Middlebrook School is a part of Wilton Public Schools.
