My wife got an oil change and upon completion they left the oil cap off. When she returned later and complained of her engine smoking it was discovered the cap was missing. They could not find a replacement cap and offered to order one and in the mean time placed duct tape over the hole. It continued to leak out oil. That evening after fearing to drive the car and I was out of town she contacted me. I drove to the location of the car and using a flashlight found the cap between the engine and frame. I replaced it and added one qt. of oil and took the car to a car wash. After several calls to the business I was finally able to speak with a manager. I explained I wanted my money returned for the price to the oil change and wanted to be reimbursed for the oil and car wash. He refused and instead offered a free oil change. I am in the process of contacting owner and informing him I am taking him to small claims court if I do not get a refund and reimbursement.
