So our baby ripped a toe nail off and we took him to a local vet due to certain situations.they said the bill would be around 160 for the surgury,then they call me and say its gonna cost almost 400 cause he ripped more than the toe nail and I said thats fine but I'll have to make 2 payments and she said we will figure something out,so my wife goes to pick him up and they would not release him till they had payment so she gave them 2 checks dividing the payment,but the sad part is the would not give her the pain meds or the antibiotics until both checks were cashed,so they expected this poor dog to go through surgery and get well with out pain meds or antibiotics,luckily we called our reg vet and they called in a script for antibiotics and we had pain meds for our other Newf from a while back.the point of this story I guess is that this world is in serious trouble from people like this vet,heartless is the only way to describe it.so if you live in Winamac Indiana stay away from davis veterinary clinic.
