The Winchester Opera House Ballroom, Gallery, and Historic Church
10 E Lexington Ave, Winchester, KY 40391
The Winchester Opera House was built in 1873 by J.D. Simpson, the first Mayor of Winchester. The Opera House was the mayor's gift to the city to be utilized as a cultural center for the performing arts. It hosted Off Broadway Productions, Classical Concerts and Community galas. The majestic building fell to industrialization and became broken from years of neglect. Recently purchased by Edward and Vanessa Ziembroski in 2003, this historic building has been renovated to its original grandeur. The new architectural plan, by Red Bud Design firm, has restored the spacious 16 foot ceilings, vintage oak flooring and original elegance. Ms. Ziembroski's design will provide a unique backdrop for your next Corporate or Social Event. Able to host Elegant Seated Dinners, Trade Shows, Benefit Dinners, Conferences, Themed Receptions and All Day Meetings The Winchester Opera House offers three distinct locations for your special Event. The 3000 square foot Grand Ballroom provides the backdrop for elegant seated dinners, themed cocktail receptions and corporate trade shows. The 850 square foot Fireside Room is perfect for corporate meetings and intimate receptions. The 1200 square foot Gallery Room which houses the work of accomplished artists, can host board room dinners, festive birthday parties and small gatherings.
