Winchester School enrolls more than 400 students in prekindergarten through grade eight. It has a staff of over 40 teachers, guidance counselors and office assistants. The school s academic curriculum includes reading, English, math and science. Winchester School also conducts classes in physical education, music, computer applications and art. It offers a full-day kindergarten program, as well as a half-day preschool program for students between the ages of three and four. The school s library media center provides a range of fiction and nonfiction books and periodicals. In addition, it offers a Spanish language course and Title I and reading recovery programs. Winchester School is a part of School Administrative Unit 38 and is located in Winchester, N.H.
