Stacy Konyar is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC), and licensed by the state of Virginia to provide family-centered healthcare to patients of all ages. Her scope of practice encompasses disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment of common and complex health care problems throughout the lifespan. She received her undergraduate degree as a registered nurse 1997 at Pennsylvania State University and Geisinger Medical Center school of nursing in Danville , Pennsylvania , then her graduate education at Shenandoah University in Winchester , Virginia , accepting a position in outpatient Neurology in 2010. She has over 18 years experience in various areas of patient care including Neurology, cardiac intensive care, neonatal intensive care and pediatrics; with special interest in health promotion, migraine prevention, multiple sclerosis and aging. Ms. Konyar also severs as a clinical preceptor for future family and Psychiatric nurse practitioners for Shenandoah University and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
