I been here several times. It’s always a warm and receptive atmosphere. I can relax and meditate here and enjoy the greenery and statues. Very tranquil!

Excellent - A place of peace

I went to the Lien Hoa Buddhist Temple on Excalibur Street. The monks greeted me warmly and invited me into the temple. The grounds were impeccable and peaceful. The abbott monk, Master Thien, answered all of my questions with enthusiasm. For example, who was Buddah? Do you worship the Buddah idol in the temple? Can I be a Christian and a Buddhist at the same time? I was asked to stay for (vegetarian) lunch. When I had to leave, Master Thien asked me to come again, and reminded me that this temple is my home, and the people (and the monks) were my family. This was done out of the goodness of his heart. He did not expect any money.
