My wife and I were needing windows removed and doors installed. They gave me a great estimate, put down a small deposit and were out the next day to start work. They finished in 3 days tops! Very clean, professional and will always use this company!

This is in response to the previous review. We pride ourselves in professional ethical business which reflects in our online reviews. I mentioned this to the individual who then reviewed us without considering all the facts to be important enough to include them. Unfortunately this individual was scammed by a terminated employee. I personally called Sam who I found mixed up in a pile of papers left by the former estimator. I then asked exactly what our company was supposed to do for him. When I realized he paid a deposit in the in check form and in the personal name of a former unethical terminated estimator, I apologized and even after the horrible verbal abuse and profanity proceeded to offer to send him the deposit back even though we never received it. I had a phone number and no address scratched in pencil on an estimate sheet. He refused and hung up. Refusing money left me in doubt of the whole incident because I felt he deserved reimbursement. Our reviews show consistent professional business practice. Even though it's hard to please everyone, we have done extremely well as you can see. We have one authentic bad review. It is followed with the same individual praising our handling of the situation. This was also a problem created by the occasional employee hiring mistakes. Thanks for reading.

Terry Moore came to my house on December 11th to look at the work that I wanted to have done. After we talked about it and he told me what I needed, I agreed to the price for installation and that I would furnish the door. Terry said that he needed a $400 deposit, which was reasonable to me. Terry sat at my kitchen table, made a phone call to who he said was the “Owner of the Company”, and told me that he said that if I made the check out to Terry that he could get this project on the schedule to be done as soon as I got the door. So that is what I did. After about 30 minutes, Terry called me back. He said that the talked to the “Owner of the Company” and that the owner had some contacts and could get me a door as a discounted price. He also said that someone would come out and measure the door and provide me a good price on the door.



Long story short, they denied knowing anything and nothing every got done.

Safe and Affordable Handyman done an exceptional job at my house. From start to finish the crew was very respectful and clean. They repainted my entire home and it totally changed the feel and look of my home. Moving forward Safe and Affordable Handyman will be the only company we use for all our home projects.

We used Safe and Affordable Handyman Svcs. to put up our Christmas lights this year. The did a fantastic job. The lights looked incredible, and they did everything as promised. We ended up having some faulty lights that went out right before a Christmas party that we were hosting. The owner sent out someone to fix the bad lights at no charge, after hours on a Friday night. He then followed up personally several times, to make sure that we were all set. We couldn't be more impressed and will be using them every year.

I only gave 1 star because 1/2 star was not available. I also tried giving a review on their website and it seems that if you don't give them at least 4 stars that they won't show the post. This company has made me afraid to use any Handyman Services in the future. Be aware that the guy that pushes you to sign the contract and gives the quotes (Terry) is not going to be working on your project, and will have no hand in your results in the future. Also be aware that the owner will also not be the one working on your project unless you have a large job ($$$$), and your project will be worked by sub-contractors. So 9 months after we signed the contract and paid in full, our project still hasn't been completed. Myself and my husband have spent the last 9 months calling and hounding the owner of this company to send crews to our house. After dropping $4,800 on renovation costs we don't feel that we should have to keep asking them when they are going to show up to finish our job. Also the last crew left a mess all over the back yard ( boards with nails in them in the same area as where our toddlers play set is). It has been going on so long that even our neighbors have mentioned in casual conversation that they guess this company is never going to return to finish our project. Another factor we had to deal with is that they removed our gutters and then didn't bother to show up for over a month after the fact, so all the rain that we received last spring caused water to leak into our basement and dig out huge holes near the foundation of our house. Only when I called the owner and informed him that we were nearing foundation damage and that they would be responsible for the cost did they come to our property to install the gutters. This whole experience has been terribly disappointing and has caused us to rethink who we will use in the future.



Update to previous Review:

After finding out about my reviews the owner contacted me immediately in order to discuss what we could do to remedy the situation. We arrived at agreements that would make the situation better, and he also provided additional interior painting services for free as a way to make it up to us. Now that the work has been completed we are very happy with the way our house looks. I also want to say that I have been informed that this business is now under new management so that future customers won't have to be placed in the same situation we were initially. I have spoken with and met the new company manager and found her to be helpful and pleasant to work with.

I was extremely satisfied with the office personnel and the work they done for us was great. It got a bit loud around here but that is part of remodeling im sure. I would use them again.
