Do not buy anything from this place. Last year they sold me a very expensive brand new pellet stove. Took over 6 weeks to install. It worked for four months and the sliding door broke. They did come fix it free of charge. I asked them to clean it last spring too. Turned it on for the first time this week. The vacuum switch is broken. Called them to fix it and they can’t come for over a month. I’m supposed to have no heat for a month? With two young kids including an infant. They don’t care. I was told I would get warranty for years and 24/7 service and I have never been lied to so much. They rip you off and do not care about their customers. You will regret it

Purchased a soapstone woodstove in Sept. All aspects of transaction were outstanding: sales knowledge, purchase, installation. Because of this when my gas stove stopped working, i didn't hesitate to call for service. Was told they do not service stoves not purchased there because if they are not the dealer they can't get parts. When i called back to tell them the store i bought it at was closed they said they would not service it because they are booked 4 weeks out with customers who have purchased from them. Definitely won't be doing any return business, i don't feel like a "valued customer".

Very unhelpful! Bought stove insert from them 2 years ago for $3,500. Called for repair and was told by Casey that he couldn't help me. One hour away was too far for service! Really??? Too happy to take our money for the insert though.

Bought a pellet stove the end of November 2014....which broke down in December 2014. Told that my one year warranty was expired and I was out of luck. The manufacturer was very amicable and send me parts after a description of the problem. I called The Stove Shoppe to set up an install for which I was paying and was told the repair tech would called me back on 12/28/ or 12/29. NO CALL. I recalled on 12/29 and left a message on Casey's direct line. Again no call. All Basics stove shop (Merrimack, N.H.) repaired the stove...a warranty 2 weeks over the limit would have been honored if I had had purchased the stove from them and parts are free through the second year. Buyer Beware at The Stove Shoppe!!!

Great Company to work with. From planning, budgeting, installation I couldn't be happier. The sales people in the store and at your home take their time and make sure that you are informed on what you can expect. When the install is done I guarantee you will be amazed with the final product. My neighbors and family won't stop asking me about my new stove.

Terrible

Totally pitiful service. Sells you a stove and then can't repair when it surely breaks. When you can get someone out it takes a month and they have to call the manufacturer to figure it out. Can't seem to remember your order, keeps no parts in stock. Mine broke down several times in the first year. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

After working perfectly for 13 years had a minor problem with my Hearthstone gas stove. Stove Shoppe sent out John G to fix and problem solved quickly and professionally. Can't ask for any better service. Thanks!
