When a recession forced the company to downsize, Mark seized the opportunity to start his own business and purchased the inventory of his former employer, using this to start Aaction Rents & Equipment with his brother Paul. Later their brother John joined them and the family owned and operated Aaction Rents that serves Sonoma County today was formed. They also founded The Special Event, a party rental and supply company, creating a diverse clientele in the fields of agriculture, industry, construction, home improvement, weddings, conferences, and more.
