Provided by YP.comI took my dog to Kittys Dog Spa today. I had read reviews but I took a shot anyway. We were greeted by Kitty when we walked in. Another groomer came to help us while Kitty went back to continue working on another dog. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Her dog Dexter was friendly and enjoys having his ears rubbed. We are planning to return in four weeks.
My dogs grooming was amazing and groomer followed exactly what I asked her to do.
Could not have asked for a better day. Price is also moderate.

Provided by YP.comI have been taking my big-haired labradoodle to Kitty for about 6 years now. When we first moved to Windsor, I tried several other places and felt frustrated with the grooms he was receiving. Cooper has a thick coat and needs attention to the details (ears, paws, matting, etc.). I was complaining to his vet about it, and he told me to take him to Kitty, that she was the best he's seen. The rest is history! She does a fabulous job every time, and I feel confident about him being in her care. As for the other reviewer that posted about her dog being attacked, I have to say that the two dogs Kitty has in her shop are NOT vicious! Her golden retriever is the most docile, sweet dog I have ever met, and the other is spunky and curious and will always come over to a client and their dog to say hi and greet, but he is not mean or vicious. I have a hard time believing the story about the woman being bit, and even if it was true, I know Kitty would not take something like that lightly. I refer everyone I know with dogs to Kitty's Dog Spa. She is sweet, caring, and I trust her with my dog. As for her grooming skills, she is the best!

Provided by YP.comI have been taking my dogs to Kitty for many years...6 or 7 I think.
A little background: we have a rottweiler that we adopted at 17 weeks old. His previous owner was very strict with him, making him skittish and VERY uncomfortable, even mean (as his defense mechanism), around anyone other than us. He absolutely HATED going to the vet or groomers. The vet we went to at the time would muzzle him and we had to have 3 or 4 people restrain hom in order to give him his shots.
Someone recommended "KITTYS DOG SPA" to me, and I tried it.
Kitty handled Gus beautifully. she was SO patient, yet firm with him. I saw a completely different dog as time went on. He and Kitty have become great friends and it was Kitty who detected bone cancer in Gus' arm. She went with me to the vet above her salon and sat through the initial appointment with me. When we had to amputate Gus' arm last July, Kitty was with me every step of the way. over the years she has become someone I depend on for advice and knowledge where the dogs are concerned.
Kittys dog, Lexus has been battling cancer too, and she is a sweet dog. She and her 'cousin' Dexter come to the shop and hang out while Kitty works. She puppy-sits Dex, her sisters dog, and he is adorable. Whats so crazy is that Gus gets along well with them both, and with his background, he doesn't make friends easily!
Kitty has a way with animals and they love and trust her. She is kind, patient and she is SO GOOD at what she does. Her prices are very reasonable and shes flexible with her schedule.
I am so thankful we found this groomer and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KITTYS DOG SPA to anyone looking for quality and care when it comes to yours animals.

Provided by YP.comI decided to overlook kitty's not so warm personality because she is a decent groomer. But, she doesn't make her dogs mind themselves. They are large and crowd you. it turns out her pit-bull is a dominant dog and that's why he was pushing himself on me. Then, he lunged for my dog and bit me. Again, she wasn't overly concerned in the moment. I think she can groom well but isn't so people friendly and good with her own dogs.
