They were great.. Just recommended them to my coworker. We kept our 2 dogs there for a few days.. One being super easy, and the other being quite a difficult dog. Although I was nervous about leaving our tough one, the lady seemed confident in walking her and our dog was fine. Both appeared to be taken care of quite nicely. Time to plan our next vacation :-).

Those who are complaining about paperwork.. Ever hear of a copy machine? Invest in one.. and NEVER give anyone your originals.. or ask them to make a copy of your documents there. I thought that was common sense. They're a boarding facility, not an office. Hmm, take care of peoples pets, or go organize paperwork? I'm glad their priorities are where they should be.

My dog Riley LOVES coming to day camp here. Riley goes to a few different places depending on my work location but goes crazy when we get here; yelping in excitement! I love how kind the staff are and I can tell they truly care about my dog and his well being. Thank you for all the love and treatment you have provided Riley over there years, I could not be happier with Day Hill Kennels.

Very unprofessional. Story about what happened while my dogs were there doesn't add up. My dogs apparently didn't want to be handled by the staff so I was told that they were never handled in the 4 days they were there...neglect. One of my dogs came home with his back nails shaved down perfectly below the quick, it was so painful to look at and I did not authorize nail clippings, the owner said they never touched him and that it must've happened "naturally" and then switched his story to I should check with whoever clips his nails (which is me). My other dog had fresh wounds, including a hole in his cheek, the owner said my dogs rumbled with each other but were reprimanded, then said they only rumbled once and were separated, but never put in separate kennels, but no one there touched them... He didn't try to rectify the situation or find a solution for me. He laughed at me. And if they were so much trouble why didn't anyone call me? I've boarded my dogs elsewhere and never had issues.

I have brought my dogs here many times over the years (Newfie and Basset hound) and have had great experiences every time. The dogs are always happy and healthy looking when I get them and staff is always friendly and helpful. I usually get my newf groomed each time and they always do great. I would recommend them to anyone! Only reason I dont put 5 stars is maybe they should think about discount programs for repeat customers who may leave their dogs for extended periods of time. Just a thought :)

Because we were going out of town for a few days, we decided to try Day Hill and have our cat stay there for about 5 days. The reason I am giving this place 0 stars is that after we came back and picked her up, they forgot to give us the cat's medical papers (vaccinations). We called them the next day to ask about the vaccination papers and they said that they can not find them. THIS IS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!! HOW CAN YOU LOOSE IMPORTANT PAPERS LIKE THAT?? These people need to get their act together and keep things organized. No apologies nothing!! So rude of them. They are incompetent!!! If they can not keep safe a piece of paper, then this makes me really uncomfortable, thinking about the way they take care of other's people precious pets. How hard is it to crate a folder for every client you have or make copies of the vaccination records and give back the original papers to the owner???? Now I have to waste my time and gas money to go to the vet and get another copy for my cat's vaccinations. In conclusion, I will never bring my pet back to these people

I've taken my dog to Day Hill Kennels for occasional boarding and regular grooming since she was a puppy and I've always been very pleased. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and really seem to care for the animals. My dog is beside herself with excitement when I pull up to the entrance, leading me to feel she has had nothing but good experiences there. I've trusted them to give my dog medications and they've followed through without a hitch. I've recommended Day Hill Kennel to a number of my friends and they have been totally satisfied as well

I have never written a review before, but they inspired me. Not only are the people at the front desk pretty creepy, but they are also not very attentive. I put my dog in there for a week. They overcharged me by almost 100 dollars because they "misunderstood" what we told them to do. She also gained about 10 pounds and looked very different than when we brought her.



One day we brought her to daycare because it is close to work and when they brought her to us at pickup she peed significantly more than usual on the floor, letting us know that they had not taken her out nearly enough.



Lastly one of our friends from work had their yellow lab groomed there during daycare. When she got home she noticed her lab licking his paw and it turns out that they cut the nails way too short all the way to the nerves and the dog was bleeding. Mistakes happen, but they never told her about the mistake and were clearly hoping that she wouldn't notice.



Overall they are extremely unprofessional. It is unfortunate because it is so close to my work but now I have to take my dog out of the way so that she can go to a place that actually does a good job. Also its clear that all the reviews are fake because who says "home away from home" about a kennel. Stay away from this place if you care about your dog!

A big thank you to Tyler and his staff for the excellent care they took when grooming my black Lab Timber. He came back clean and happy and smelling good too! He was always a little "antsy" about having his nails trimmed but the job gets done and he's getting used to it!



Roger and Tyler have always been helpful and very professional. They genuinely enjoy their jobs and their "clients"--pets and people alike! I've recommended Day Hill Kennel to friends and family for years. Keep up the good work!
