Just picked up 2 dresses that fit awesome. Being the daughter of a seamstress, I am a 'fit' snob and I fell back in love with 2 dresses that I'd purchased off the rack after the fine work by the ladies at Hickman Tailors.The alterations are professionally done and completed as promised. Try them you won't be disappointed.

I have used Hickman Tailor for over 10 years. The owner, Tu, is fantastic. Her work is meticulous and she pays attention to every detail. I highly recommend her shop. You won't be disappointed.

I had my wedding gown altered at Hickman Tailors & they did a great job! It was fast, about 2 weeks turnaround time. It was also MUCH cheaper than using the tailor at David's Bridal, where I got my dress. It was about $135 for all the alterations. For my dress that included hemming, and taking in around the chest and sides. My bridesmaids had their dresses altered there as well and they look beautiful.I would recommend Hickman Tailors to anyone who's looking for quality, cost-efficient alterations.

I've had several pants hemmed at Hickman Tailors over the last year or so.Overall, the tailors are great. It's a small little shop on the corner of Hickman and Merle Hay with a tiny parking lot. They always seem to have stacks of clothing (often tuxes or wedding gowns), so I take that as a good sign!The service has been very consistent. It usually runs about $8 / pair of pants. Turnaround time is about a week. I think that's a bit on the slow side, but the price seems fair. I have never had a problem with length or quality of the sewing, and I will continue to bring my pants there.
