Located in Windsor, Ill., Windsor Elementary School offers a range of educational programs to more than 200 students in pre-kindergarten through grade six. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, English, mathematics, science and social studies. The school maintains a library and media center that stocks books and periodicals and provides links to search engines. It also administers the Title I program, as well as employs a social worker, reading specialist and speech pathologist. The school conducts classes in physical education, music and art. In addition, Windsor Elementary School is a part of Windsor CUSD 1, which governs various educational institutions. The school district serves over 400 students and employs nearly 30 teachers.
