At The Brace Shop, we try to help our patients with special needs by providing education, information, support and products to help you manage your medical condition. We want you to fully understand your condition and its treatment options and management, and therefore offer resources to help you find the information and assistance you need. Our orthotist on staff are American Board Certified Orthotist and BOC certified orthotist, and three certified fitters are on staff to assist you. The Brace Shop is a BOC (Board for Orthotist Certification) accredited facility with certified practitioners dedicated to meeting individual patient's needs. Since 1969, we have been fabricating and fitting custom orthopedic devices, assisting people with disabilities and injuries. We work directly with your physician to evaluate your orthotic needs and determine the best fit. All orthopedic braces and supports are individually measured and fit. Alterations and modifications are done on-site to ensure an accurate, tailored fit. Some braces require custom casting or heat molding which is also performed on-site. Your practitioner can re-fit and adjust your existing orthotic device, perform gait analysis, and evaluate the need for customized footwear from a medical doctor's prescription.
