Established in 1938, Community Electric Cooperative offers complete electrical services to all the rural and other areas of southeastern Virginia. It serves more than 10,000 residential and commercial clients in the rural parts of the City of Suffolk, Isle of Wight and Southampton counties, along with portions of Sussex and Surry counties. The cooperative renders complete installation, repair and security lightning and other electrical services to its new, as well as existing members. It also offers special facilities like e-bill payments, life sustaining devices, budget billing, generators, area lighting and customer services.
