In May of 2017, I signed a contract and gave Sam Lobello, the owner, a deposit of $3000 for a stamped concrete patio to be done mid June to Mid July. I have a string of texts from June to October of excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't do the job. On October 6, he admitted via text that he is not going to do the job. I asked to come get my deposit back and he said he can not because his bank account is frozen. He said his attorney would be contacting me. I asked for his attorney's name and phone number and I received no reply.
Later, I texted him and he pretended not to know me and stated that I had the wrong guy.

All I have is a string of texts with excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't do my patio. On October 6, he admitted via text he was not going to do my patio. I asked for my deposit back and he told me his bank account is frozen and his attorney would contact me. I asked for the name of his attorney and he did not reply.
Later the same day, I texted him and he pretended he didn't know who I was and texted me that "I had the wrong guy". Go to Angie's List website and you will see that he did this to someone else as well.
