I have been to this hospital on a couple of occasions. Each time the care I received was excellent. The room, food, care and especially the staff were fantastic!

I loved working for William Newton Hospital in the laboratory before I attended nursing school. I'd always hoped to return after I finished. I delivered my oldest (now 17 yr old) daughter here, and my only complaint was that my doctor missed the delivery. Thank you, Betty White, RN, for delivering her so beautifully! I would recommend this hospital to all of my family & friends!

We recently had to take a little one (4yo) to the ER. She had a delayed reaction to a tree nut that was in a piece of Christmas candy. Not knowing that she was allergic and unfamiliar with the symptoms she was presenting-- we quickly decided to go to the hospital.

We called ahead to let them know that we were coming and when we arrived we were immediately taken back for care. The nurses, doctor and respiratory therapist quickly made our little patient feel at ease and more importantly, better. Before they started a breathing treatment one of the nurses let her pick TWO little toys out from under their departmental Christmas tree It was an excellent distraction. They got us in quickly, cared for and back on our way. She's since been to the allergist-- so we know what to watch out for now!

It is a relief to have access to an obviously able group of medical professionals.

Full disclosure: I work at WNH in a non-clinical role on the day shift. I didn't know all of the staff that cared for us-- but I do now and am very proud to be on the same team as them.
