Provided by YP.comDr. Maybie has looked after our dogs for years. He has the nicest, kindest, most gentle way about him. I would never trust my animals to anyone else. He has taken care of them in the most gentle, humane way. I have never seen him turn down anyone. The staff is also wonderful. It was a drive for us but I would continue to do it.

Provided by YP.comDoc Mabie, he has a kind heart. Many of time has he passed the bill on to himself for those who cannot pay. Many of time has he set aside family matters, just to help others. Never would he turn someone away. Never would he turn away to someone who was burdened and could not pay. For twenty two years, Doctor Mabie, has lived and breathed knowledge of veternarian medicine. He graduated from the University of Texas A&M after recieving a doctorates degree in Veternarian Science. Now, due to the fact he has a limited amount of workers, doctors (considering, he is the only one) and equipment, he cannot perform all intense surgeries and actions. Twice a year, every year, to this day, he attends school to further his education. He has clients from South Carolina, Kentucky, and Ohio, that drive just for his service and personal attention.

Provided by YP.comWhen I arrived at the office, I had a dying dog and the woman at the desk informed me they could not see my dog unless I had an up front amt of money somewhere in the range of $100 or more. Not everyone is carrying that amt of cash when an emergency arises. With tears in my eyes I explained that she needed care immediately and that I wasn't getting paid till 2 o'clock that afternoon, they turned my little Zsa Zsa away. She did die later that day in the care of a wonderful vet who was more concerned with her well being than cash up front. And yes they were paid in full that day. And even though they couldn't save her, at least they did try.

Provided by YP.comI have known Dr. Mabie for many years. He is a kind, caring, Christian vet. I appreciate the fact that he will refer you on if he feels a condition is beyond him. He was really wonderful to us when we had to put a dog down a few years back. He was very considerate of our pain and of making sure our dog's death was gentle.
He is probably the most affordable vet in the area as well. I usually pay around half of what I'd have to pay at other clinics. I highly recommend Country Roads!

Provided by YP.comKind, gentle treatment of my cats. They always explain things so that I can better understand. I've been taking all my pets there for twenty years, and won't go anywhere else!

Provided by YP.comI took my weimaraner to this veterinary for a second opinion. As soon as he entered the room, without even giving the dog a physical exam he said that he was not qualified to treat the condition. He offered no solution, he just simply referred me to another vet. However, he was sure to charge over $30 for the office visit that lasted 20 minutes and nothing was accomplished. If you intend on taking your pet to this doctor for anything more than flea medication, don't wast your time.
