Khoury's market place has a lot to be desired as far as their checkout service. The young girl which waiting on me was not only very rude, but her attitude was that she was doing you a favor by even waiting on you; that she was being put out. There was no greeting at all, but the worst part was that she litterly tossed the perishable produce items across the round table, and did not pay any attention at all to the heavier items being dumped on top of it such as a large bag of rice. One four pack of pudding not only came apart, but the bottom of two of the containers were all mashed in.

While checking out the other food items she had to be told not once but twice by myself to slow down & quit throwing the items. She rang two seperate items up wrong with the wrong price & then argued that they were not on sale, even when she was shown that these items were clearly displayed across the lanes from the checkout stands approx. thirty feet from her checkout station.

After paying for the items, she was in such a hurry that she dropped the return change (currency) all over the checkstand & didn't wait until I could reach out & take hold of it.

The groceries were not bagged any better. ALL the groceries were piled into TWO plastic bags & placed into the cart.

On unloading these bags at my vehicle, I had to unload both bags because they were way overloaded. All of the produce was placed on the bottom of the bags with the heavier items dumped on top. The banana's were bruised, but not as bad as the lettuce, tomatoes and avacado's. One package of meat had a hold in one corner and appears to have been made with a finger (How sanitary).

The service at Khoury's has gradually gone down over the past month. They seem to have a very large turnover of personnel. There is no apparant training given to the younger checkers as far as ATTITUDE & COURTESY is concerned.

As far as my family is concerned, we will NO longer shop at Khoury's. Raley's food center may not have all the sales, but the attitude and courtesy given their customers more than make up for it.
