Avoid this place!!!!

I purchased a 1997 Subaru Forester from Gateway Auto Repair. The person selling the car to me insisted that the car was perfectly alright and did not need any other repairs.

Ten minutes after I brought it home, me and my friend noticed a radiator leak gushing out from the front of the hood.

The person who sold me the car took it back to the shop and said they would fix it for free - it would be done the next morning.

Went over there the next morning. Suddenly, the shop owner told me he was going to charge me $250 to $300 to put a new radiator in.

I asked for my money back.

He refused.

I left and then I brought a friend down with me - the same person who sold it to me said they would put a new radiator in for free (again).

Left for a few hours.

Came back - the seller said he changed his mind (yet again).

The owner then came over and YELLED AT ME FOR 20 MINUTES WITHOUT ANY PROVOCATION.

He yelled that it was MY PROBLEM NOW. Not his.

Then another friend of mine came over - they told him that they would put in a new radiator for free (again).

Now, here I am, Friday, five days after I purchased a car that they insisted that had NOTHING WRONG WITH IT.It's still in the shop.

They went back on their word one more time and demanded $150 for another radiator.

I paid - and, when I drove the car away, it turns out that the radiator they put in had an EVEN WORSE LEAK THAN BEFORE.

They apologized and said they're getting yet another new one.

Instead, they repainted the old one and it STILL LEAKED! ALL OVER THE PLACE!
