First off this is the shop to go whenever you are looking for something unique or unusual, and there's always a deal. Every time I go in I always have to leave with something for myself or family and friends. The owner and staff are very professional, helpful and knowledgeable about what they are selling, and what they bring in. I would defiantly always go there and recommend them to everyone I know, they have a customer for life.

I went to the pawn shop with a ovation guitar and stihl chain saw needing a loan well come to find out this pawn shop cant pawn or buy anything for two months because they have no inshuance how can. they still operate at all i no my small biz isnt allowed to operate with out inshurance just seems like a shady store nevermind the owner isnt around and the young clerk was very disrespectful lets say it was a waist of time to go t4here then get treated disrepected great way to run a store

I have been dealing with Winsted Pawn for years. They have given me many awesome deals,always open to bargaining. I'll always stop here if I need a gift or a tool before giving $ to a big store. This is the best business in Winsted!

what can I say? Best prices on jewelry in Litchfield county! Forget rental stores, dvds are 3 bucks. Tools, Guitars, Video games are guaranteed cheaper than gamestop or fye. Lots of unusual items. It's like a tag-sale, but waaaaaay better. Nice friendly, brightly lit, clean store. One on one customer service. Very professional. I'll never buy retail jewelry again. -nancy
