We appreciate all feedback, so thank you for this candid review. Enlighten Dental Care is not an "in-network" provider. We will collect a portion of the visit for operative (fillings, crowns, extractions, etc) but most regular services (routine cleaning, exams, and x-rays) are billed to insurance first.We handle the filing of patient claims as a courtesy, but patients are responsible for the balance after insurance is filed. Rates will vary among insurance providers as some companies like BC/BS and Delta Dental will only pay in full for "in-network", while others will provide coverage "out of network" as well. The Enlighten Dental Care staff are diligent in reviewing payment procedures when new patients schedule an appointment. We understand insurance can be confusing and are always available and happy to answer questions, discuss fees associated with upcoming appointments, etc. Our policy is to assist and educate our patients and to be available in all ways to provide the best possible experience! We encourage patients to reach out to us so we can fully fill this role!
