Provided by YP.comRegret moving mom to HH. We understand everyone deserves to make a profit, but not at the expense of senior citizens. Residents are autocharged $600 per month for food services; this wouldn't be horrible if the meals were palatable, or even healthy. Prices of meals are far more than what you would pay at (mediocre) restaurants; for the prices charged, one would think a "green salad" could be more than a few mouthfuls of bagged chopped iceberg, or that they could serve fresh rather than canned green beans. We have eaten there with mom on multiple occasions so this isn't 2nd hand. If the residents don't spend $600 per month (which rolls monthly), only 1/3 of what they haven't spent is returned. So they cut costs on food and keep 2/3rds of their money if they can't eat it. There used to be Comment Cards on the tables which have been removed. It seems management is taking advantage of older folks with few choices now that they have committed to living there. We're so disappointed.
