I really honestly think the good reviews on here have to be fake- they sound fake for one, and ogburn properties has to be the WORST property management company I have ever had to deal with! I have moved a lot as a result of being military so I have dealt with many- but wow! They literally did all they could to purposely screw us over. If you have to rent from these people make sure you get ALL your receipts! They will say you didn't pay! I had to get proof from my bank to show I paid but it still didn't save me from all their fees and then they even added a ton of administrative fees for no reason! And forget about customer service, they don't care anything about that, but complain about it to them and they will just add some more 'administrative fees'. The house we are renting had not been taken care very well either, their motto must be cut every corner, so much jerry rigging going on around here, and not to mention the thousands of layers of paint on the walls and outlets- we had to chip away the paint to use the outlets... They are rude and out for every last dime they can get from you however they can get it. BEWARE!!!!

I just began renting from Ogburn Properties and I have nothing but rave reviews for them. My roommates and I were on a time-crunch to move into a house close to the hospital in Winston Salem and the staff at Ogburn Properties were more than helpful in meeting our needs. They made every effort to accommodate us in the short time-frame we had to work with, and they delivered a beautiful home ready to move into. This was my first time ever renting so, naturally, I had a lot of questions; the staff was so patient with answering them.Two thumbs up for Ogburn Properties!!!

We were renting from Ogburn properties for 2 years and they were great. Definitely friendly every time I went to the office and when I needed something for the house. They also gave us back our deposit even though my daughter messed up a few things in her room so we were very grateful to them. I would definitely recommend them.

Sam Ogburn, Jr. is a very knowledgeable source of real estate guidance. He is fair and honest and his unbiased input has proven to be invaluable as we have purchased and sold real estate over the years. I can easily recommend Ogburn Properties!

I would like to retract the above review. Sam Ogburn came thru with refunding the money in timely fashion and apologized for any problems.

We had an awful experience with Ogburn Properties. We wish we had rented with another rental company. They did not follow through with a conversation in regards to a reduction in rent on a property we rented for 3 years after the property went into forclosure. Of course, the owner states it is his word against ours. Understand we paid 40,000 dollars in rent and he wants to keep 450 dollars or our deposit. The owner negotiated a $450 reimbursement of our rent on the last month to off set the expense of moving our family of 5 to an apartment while my husband finished his last 2 months of grad school. Ultimately, costing us about $6500 for a corporate apartment.
