I agree with the customer from...

I agree with the customer from Feb. 2013. The store has great products but I am not convinced that they are at all concerned with the customer service they provide. And if there is a such thing as "fake nice" - they have that down to a science! I have never been made to feel so unworthy to visit a retail store as I did at this store. So - after some careful consideration I decided they weren't worthy of my business. Returned what my husband purchased for our newborn daughter. Will never grace the doors of this store again!!! And I have shopped here for about 16 years. I shopped at this store when it was located at Reynolda Village. Very disappointed in the staff and management at Rolly's at Thruway Shopping Center. There are other local businesses to support who will appreciate a customer and their business.

This store has great products and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The owner/manager could not care less about customer satisfaction. I recently bought a beautiful crib from the store, that I could have purchased directly from the manufacturer. In hindsight I wish had ordered it instead of trying to support this local business. When they called me to let me know the crib was in they told me that it was rather large and I would need a truck not an SUV to pick it up. I called the day before to let them know that we would be coming and the owner reminded me that I would need a truck to transport it. What he did not mention was that I would need to bring twine or anything else needed to tie the parts down. I have never been to a place that sales furniture and does not have twine! OK my mistake I should have brought this but foolishly thought they would have it. We made do with the single bungie cord we had in the truck and figured we could stop and get twine on the way (Rolly's did not offer to help in anyway). Needless to say this was a poor decision on my part. We had a terrible time trying to get this home and nearly caused a huge accident in the process. When I called to express my concern/dissatisfaction, the owner made it clear by not bothering to ask if I or the crib were ok, that he did not feel any of this was his responsibility and that he did not care to have me as a customer. I will never shop at this store again and will make it a point of telling every new/expecting mother to avoid this place like the plague!

Broken Promises

When we initially went into the store, we were greeted so warmly and had a great experience placing our order with the owner. However, it's taken a drastic turn since. Along with phone calls not being returned, we're still waiting on the last piece of the bedroom set, which was ordered Oct 16. We were told probably 6-8 weeks; however, it may be up to 8-12 weeks, so the latest we would get it was Jan. The first part came in within a couple weeks, the second was January. It's March...supposedly getting shipped from Georgia next week (not the first time we've heard this). How does the company want to rectify it? A whole lot of BS and an apology, followed by hanging up on me. NEVER AGAIN would I even walk into that store.
