We rented the skate helper walkers for 2 , some boys took off with them , while the children were getting a drink, they are not numbered or marked, so you don't know if yours is blue, or number 4, and the staff would not assist in finding them. I had to track down every mom in the place to find the ones we needed.. The music was for crowds over 21, the language in the music was not kid friendly , even for my 15 yr old, do they know young kids are in the building. The music was so loud, that my kids could not hear, and like the lady below.. we had a tiny one on the floor, and they said no parents allowed.. It is not a family place. I took 5 kids, and had a terrible time. Also, they don't carry inline skates like the one in high point.

My child had to deal with her first bout of discrimination on 10/31/2014. Skatehaven, refused to allow me to accompany my child on the floor. I have been doing this since she was two. Now when me accompanying on her on the floor becomes a safety issue, the management decides that she cannot be accompanied, citing it was a liability issue. When I explained the situation and that it was more of a liability for her to be out on the floor by herself, the only thing that was told to me was that my money could be refunded & me & my 7 year old daughter could leave. I went to the front & started to explain what was going on to my church leaders. One of the leaders (the Pastor's wife) asked if my daughter could come back in & have Pizza. The Owner/Management said no because I disrupted her operations. No music ever stopped. No one stopped skating. Because she was dealing with a highly educated person who knew and asserted her daughters rights & she couldn't produce the requested policy in writing, she denied my hearing impaired child from fellowship with her church group. Then when I asked her to confirm that she was denying entry to record it, she called the police on me (probably because I was also taking pictures of every sign they had posted in the front entrance) Needless to say, this is not over. I am asking everyone to spread the word so that all of Winston Salem knows that the Owner/Management at Skatehaven USA in Winston Salem openly discriminates against children with disabilities and boycott this establishment

I like this skating rink, my son enjoys going here every weekend,

how do i know if this is the right one uhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuh!
