We have been delivering this experience for over 16 years, and now in our new location are able to deliver a level of service and quality unmatched in the Winter Park area. We prepare all aspects of our menu on premises utilizing the freshest, meat, seafood and produce received from all three coasts. Our seafood is the freshest available, flown in daily and handled with the utmost care. Available for your enjoyment is a full service bar, and an extensive wine list. Our chefs use the freshest and highest quality ingredients to create original dishes and local favorites, like our Catch of the Day, Chicken Roulade, Steak and Frites, Southern Chicken Fried Steak, and of course our signature Gumbo.

Better than Authentic by Philip

Being born and raised in South Louisiana, I'm always a tough critic of creole and Cajun restaurants. Fontenots has a very fresh Ã©touffÃ©e, crispy big catfish filets, and authentic fried shrimp that tastes fresh off of the boat. This place hits the spot after a day on the mountain!

Love This Place!

My first experience at Fontenot’s was years ago and I have been coming back every year since! Their new place is like being in New Orleans. Last year I was able to go twice and tried their lunch on the deck during my visit over the summer, I had their fried green tomato po’boy and a cup of gumbo. I always get the gumbo at dinner but the po’boy is a new favorite. I have been coming here for years and never had a bad meal and always round it out with their bread pudding! I always look forward to my trip to Winter Park and my visit to Fontenot’s!
