Growing up on a dairy farm in Michigan, I learned the importance of a strong work ethic. My parents taught me from a young age that everyone benefits when work is done right. They also emphasized the importance of engaging with people and to “do right by them.” The example set by my parents is the foundation for my work as an Allstate agent. I opened my agency in Winter Park, Florida, in 2004 after spending 15 years in Miami and 4 years in St. Petersburg. In Miami, I worked as an insurance adjuster. It is there that I learned how crucial stability is in a crisis. When an issue arises, it feels good to know that the same person will value you, listen to you and offer support.
