Provided by YP.comI bought my gas heater 13 years ago from Dale's Gas and now that I'm getting ready to sell my house, I decided I should have it checked out to make sure it's working since I haven't used it in a while. Their tech came out, checked it all out, replaced the controls which I was not able to see anymore due to discoloration. It turns out that it had actually burned out. So now I have a working heater and proof that it is working (from the receipt and notes), which will be a plus for the sale of my house. The tech did a fantastic job explaining everything and making sure everything works. Couldn't have been better.

Provided by YP.comDon't expect much from this company. Especially with regard to customer service and integrity. I agreed to have them come out and give me a estimate on repairing my spa heating unit for a fee. I just moved into the house and I am not familiar with this kind of thing. The technician was onsite for less than 10 minutes, did not perform any tests other than visual inspection, and tried to sell rather than repair.
All of this is mostly fine except that they are charging me a $150 fee, and the tech spent most of the ten minutes trying to pressure my girlfriend to buy a new unit from them. I never received a written estimate, but they did spend a lot of time trying to prove me wrong. I asked repeatedly to get an actual estimate (you know, the thing I'm paying for), and they simply threaten to send me to collections if I didn't pay). And of course they were extremely rude the whole time.
My primary dispute with this company is that they did not do anything to warrant a fee. They have supposedly charged me to estimate my repair costs. Even up until now, I have not received a written estimate (or a verbal estimate), just a few disrespectful phone calls and a lack of understanding.
After this episode I called another national gas company that services my area, and they were great. If you are in this area, do yourself a favor and skip this place. It's not worth your time.

Provided by YP.comI've used Dales Gas for 2 years. I've spent over $10,000 on a pool pump, spa propane heater, pool heat pump, and repairs to my pool. At first, they were great; very responsive and the owner would even call to check on things.
Lately, I've become frustrated. My spa propane heater, which is less than two years old, stopped working about a month ago. I called Dales Gas and was advised that they could come out several days later. They came out while I was at work and reported everything was working fine. It turned out they looked at the pool pump (which they had just installed brand-new a month before) instead of the spa propane heater. I called them again and was told it would be 3-4 days before they could come back out. They did come and "fixed" the heater again for $150 while I was at work. I went to use it last night, and the service light is on and it still doesn't work. Now I'm told they can't come back out for 4 more days. Asked to speak to owner 2 wks ago but he never called.

Provided by YP.comExceptional service. I have used them over the years and without exception, Clint and Lacey are knowledgeable, experienced and care about customers. A great staff, trained technicians and superb service make Dale's an obvious choice for my pool, spa and grill service and support.

Provided by YP.comI kept in contact with this company to fix a leak in my water heater. They charged for a service they did not complete. I would definitely not recommend working with Dale's Gas. If you want to give them FREE money...that is up to you.
I would appreciate a chance to challenge this claim. Our company does not charge for service unless work had been done. If you are willing to post this review then I'm sure you are willing to give us a chance to remedy this situation.

Provided by YP.comDale's Gas does not warranty their work. I just had a very expensive part replaced by their company 60 days ago and the part already went bad again they wanted to charge $140 to replace it again. The manager Clint has a very bad attitude and could care less about his customers or repeat business. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy!
In response to this review, our warranty is clearly stated and recorded on our phone system to our customers. We offer a 30 day warranty on our labor and the warranty on the parts that are replaced are determined by the manufacturer of those parts. Unfortunately we do not manufacture the parts and cannot determine their warranty. If there was an issue with your warranty we would like to discuss it with you. Please contact us at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

Provided by YP.comPentair contacted Dale’s Gas under a warrantee request. I was informed by Dale’s Gas during the call to set the appointment that the service call of $85.00 and labor charges of $55.00 would apply if the pump was functioning and the cause of malfunction was not covered under warrantee. They determine that the pump was malfunctioning and the replacement would be covered under warrantee, but labor would not be since after contacting Pentair, it was determined that the pump was purchased as an “internet” sale, even though documentation of sale was provided prior to the service call and was accepted by Pentair (who contacted Dale’s Gas). Clint, the owner or service manger of Dale’s Gas made it clear he didn’t care and they are attempting to stick me with a $55.00 labor charge for doing nothing. No repair was made by Dale’s Gas.
I apologize for any inconvenience that was caused ny this situation. This is the reason that the warranty is explained to customers and recorded on our phone system BEFORE coming out to the customers residence. We do not set the warranty for each manufacturer. As the warranty representative it is our job to follow the rules set by the manufacturer. Unfortunately not everyone agrees with these warranty terms and that again is why we try to forewarn our customers Before coming out instead of just sending a bill through the mail after the fact. If proof of warranty was provided before the service call I would like to be made aware of the method of communication in which this information was presented and to whom it was given so that we can deal with this issue. Thank you.

Provided by YP.comHave you ever called for service on a product and the person answering the phone sounded like they wished you would just go away? Well HALLEAUIAH folks!! You will not find that with this company. Funny, Helpful and Friendly staff with the best customer service around. When we have had to call for service they are always Prompt and Effecient with fare rates. I cannot say enough good things about them.
Thank you so much for your kind review! We truly appreciate your business and hope to assist you with any future needs!
