Provided by YP.comUpdate to the 7/24/14 posting:
1356 San Diego Ct. Winter Springs, FL 32708. I moved into that property with the kitchen cabinets painted BABY BLUE. Upon approval, I painted them to match the appliances, and upon moving out, had to paint them back to that awful color.
ANGEL HIDALGO took SIX HUNDRED dollars from my security deposit to re-paint the cabinets, claiming that the "owners claimed the cabinets to be WHITE upon move in." So they take $600 based upon a lie, and it gets even better...
I view the property a year later - THEY NEVER PAINTED. Look up the property, the cabinets are BLUE! I got charged $600 for them to supposedly paint them white, and they literally just stole the money.
Angel Hidalgo no longer even works for the company, if that tells you anything.

Provided by YP.comMy roommates and I had an absolutely terrible experience with RE/MAX 200 Realty, specifically with their agent Derrick Radford. We rented an old house in Orlando for a year and half. During our stay, it was nearly impossible to have any work done on the house to keep it in livable condition. When the ceiling in our shower collapsed, we spent two weeks showering at gyms and hosing ourselves off in the yard while Derrick Radford sent for estimate after estimate to find the repairperson that would cost him the least amount of money. Later, the septic pump broke and we literally had sewage water flooding our bathroom for over a week. Not only was Derrick Radford not helpful whatsoever, he consistently tried to blame the problem on us. We ended up paying our own money to figure out the problem, which was a blown electrical outlet in the yard because the house was so old. After painting the house, steam cleaning the carpets, and landscaping the entire yard, we completed the final walkthrough with Derrick, who informed us we were "some of the best tenants he ever had." At that time, he had in his possession a $995 security deposit and a $995 extra month's rent we paid him in good faith as tenants. Thirty days went by without us hearing a word from Derrick Radford. Finally, he called me two weeks later and proceeded to shout at me on the phone when I asked him about our money. He went so far as to threaten me, saying he would make it "as difficult as possible" for us to get our money back, and then told me I was "wasting his time" before hanging up on me. It has now been over seventy days, and he continues to ignore any attempts at communication. I strongly caution any possible renters in the Orlando or Winter Park areas from working with Derrick Radford. Too many honest real estate agents work in these cities to settle with someone who will smile to your face and then take your money and run the first chance he gets.

Provided by YP.comPROPERTY MANAGEMENT at RE/MAX 200 is absolutely abysmal. Renting property from this company will be the most costly mistake you ever make. Their "managers" are completely incompetent and unprofessional, and worst of all DISHONEST. I was told of pending updates to the property I was seeking in order to get me into the lease, however, once signed, no updates were ever made.
I moved into a house that hadn't been updated since the 80's with powder-blue paint on the cabinets, which I was told I could update as long as I returned it to the original color upon vacating - Thinking I would do both myself and the homeowner a favor, I did paint the cabinets and color-matched them to the appliances, which really modernised the kitchen - excited to see what the homeowner thought of the update, I asked RE/MAX to send comparative photos to ask if the homeowner would still like me to return them back to the baby blue eyesore. (I have NEVER lived in any property where UPGRADES were unacceptable!) RE/MAX refused to contact the homeowner, merely citing terms of my lease indicating that all paint be returned to original color, no upgrade acknowledged. Fine, as ridiculous as it was, I painted those cabinets baby blue again and moved out...
RE/MAX THEN PROCEEDED TO PAINT THE CABINETS WHITE, AND BILLED ME $600! I was told by ANGEL HIDALGO that "I have confirmed with the owner, and the cabinets were given to you white." -- I hope after reading this, you will be as shocked as I was to be SO blatantly lied to, with so many emails on record fighting over the "BLUE" paint, with PICTURES included! Even with all the evidence proving them to be lying thieves, the due process in getting your money back is made extremely difficult to the point where they know you will not pursue it.
If after reading this, you still find yourself seeking a property of theirs, READ THE LEASE ENTIRELY; they charge a fee for EVERYTHING, for example, a $250 cleaning fee regardless of how clean you leave the property, as well as carpet cleaning fees regardless of your own receipts. You will have no security deposit left by the time they illegitimately assess the property.
AVOID THESE THIEVES, they are only in business to make money off of you, and will take so much more than you signed into!

Provided by YP.comRe/Max 200 is a great company to rent from! We have rented a home from another company in Orlando & they were terrible compared to Re/max. We rented a home with them for a year and a half & they have been great to deal with from the start. We had 3 minor maintenance issues while we were tenants and they all were fixed quickly & the maintenance people were great with working with our schedule. We got a new property manager before our lease was up and she (Dawn) was as nice as our original guy (Mo). The people in the office were always nice & answered any questions we had. We moved out early in May & got our deposit check in less than 15 days. If we didn't move to North Florida, we would have continued to stay with Re/max as our realtor.
