Provided by YP.comI have eaten at D'Parma several times, usually it has been anywhere from satisfactory to good. I dined there last night with 4 friends, we had reservations and were seated right away, the wait staff was pleasant. My friends 2 D'Parma salads looked good, and they were happy with them, My husband had chicken parm, which he said was pretty good, another in the party had the special squid ink with pasta, and he seemed to like it. Our side salads arrived about 3 minutes before the meal, which was actually ok, because the salads were in little tiny dishes and were basically 2 to 3 bites. My meal, linguine shrimp, was absolutely gross. The pasta was way overcooked, the shrimp tasted like it was boiled, there were 5 small pieces of shrimp, It was supposed to be in oil and garlic, there was no detectable oil, garlic, or seasoning of any kind whatsoever, I checked the bottom of the bowl to see if it was down there, but that was only pasta water down there, I considered asking the waitress to get some oil and garlic on it but the texture of the pasta and shrimp was so awful, I doubt it would have been edible even with the oil and garlic. I told the watress that the meal wasn't good, she said sorry, and another waitress came by and asked what was wrong with my meal, I told here it was all drasticaly overcooked, and had no detetable seasoning at all, but, she too just said sorry. I will probably go back, but will stick to the D'Parma salad from now on-I would absolutely never order anything related to pasta there (or shrimp) I did have to go home and eat because I was very hungry
