The care the owner and trainer give the horses is top notch. I have to move and wasn't able to take my horse with me for two years. I left my girl at Palo Verde and she received great care. They notice the smallest details on every horse that is boarded... My horse had a small knot on the underside of her stomach which I didn't even notice when I brushed her. The owner and trainer had called the vet to check on it and found out that it was just a knot that would works its way out in a day or two. ( I had her in her stall for the day with a boot on to soak her hoof and this is how it developed). Also, while living abroad, they caught her colic really early so the vet was able to come and flush her out. They care they have with the animals and the knowledge is amazing and I would recommend this place to anyone.

After purchasing a horse, I needed a place to board. I looked the few stables in the area. This was by far one of the worst.... The moment you enter the stable area you are overpowered by the smell of urin. The stalls looked as if they had minimal bedding, maybe 1/4" altho they did have a gravel drainage layerunder(i was told) the 1/4" of sawdust/wood chips. One or two stalls were in need of repair. I don't think they use lime, if they did you could not tell. The tack rooms were way to crowded, anytime you return or remove your saddle from the stand it WILL rub against the surrounding saddles. My biggest concern would be for my horse, I would not want him breathing in that OVERPOWERING URIN ODER.
