Provided by YP.comThis place was wonderful, caring and genuinely concerned for my fur baby. At no point did I feel like they were in it for the money and even went out of their way to save me money.

Provided by YP.comBIG FAT ZERO! My precious 7 year old Yorkie was killed by this hospital. He went in for a MRI for mild back pain. He never came home. He was 7 pounds and they over anesthetized him. He lived a few short hours after the MRI before dying. I was so devastated, I couldn't eat, sleep or work. I had already paid them over $2000 for the MRI. I couldn't talk because I was so upset so my Sister called to give final instructions. They had the audacity to coldly let her know that their KILLING HIM was an ADDITIONAL $2000!!! Not only did I lose my best friend, I lost my soul. Money is no object when it comes to my dog but I could not believe how cold they are. No sorry for my loss, no consultation with the vet for information, nothing except the DEMAND for MORE money!
Believe me when I say that this organization is strictly a money making, animal killing organization. Go to Angell in Jamaica Plain. Humans would be lucky to get the care they provide to animals there.

Provided by YP.comThis is so true. They only care about your money. This is the feeling I have had all week since I took my Merlin (6 years). I came home from work on Sept 14 to my baby not being able to walk. I got an appoint at my vet right away. They did blood work xrays etc. It turned out it was a urinary tract infection.. Spent everything I had there and was told that he needed to be transported to the Mass Veterinary Referral for observation. So I took him there. The staff was great and took him right in. Then came. I needed $3000.00 for three days. I was upset and started making calls to raise the money. I tried the care insurance which is a joke and was denied, It was 9pm and no one was picking up. They ten told me $1400.00 for the day - still trying to get a hold. I was going to cash in my 401k in the morning to save my baby. Then it was $400. I had nothing. i wanted them just to wait till the morning and let me contact someone for a loan. They said no. So I was left with no other choice and now I am completely heartbroken. Merlin was my friend and companion. On September 14th 10:07pm. I had to put my friend down. I did manage to get time payments for the $400. The place is nice and I am sure they give wonderful care to those who have the money. I did see alot of people coming out happy with there furbabies. I was not one of them :( Karen D

Provided by YP.comUnless you have thousands of dollars do not take your furry family member here, As anyone would be I was devastated when my Chesapeake bay 4 years old couldn't move her rear legs, my vet had taken x rays and seen nothing, so referred us here, the doctor said 10,000.00 and only 10% chance of helping or put her down, she said there was no hope. I wish I hadn't listened to her and took my chessie to Tufs :( I miss her terribly, I am disabled and I took care of her did everything I was suppose to, when I got home I read up more on her symptoms and seen several non-operative things that it could of been, they never even took blood work from her, I asked them to. I would of paid the 300.00 for that. My vet called the following day and told me she didn't think it was her spine, I didn't even ask what she thought I was traumatized at that point, my girl was gone. Heart broken still a year later. These vets need to explain everything and take steps to rule out other conditions before jumping to the 10,000.00 fee. The doctor didn't even seem to care, she was onto the next examining room. Tufts at least the care about you and your furry family member. I have two cats and a small dog and god forbid anything happens that they need care, I will be going to tufts, I wish I hadn't been so vulnerable and naive to listen to this place, I may of still had my girl with me. They didn't check for poisoning, tick diseases or even flea preventative poisoning all of which have the symptoms my my girl was showing :( I am so sorry girl,.

Provided by YPmobileThis is an amazing veterinary hospital, and have used their emergency services many times! Not only have they saved our cats several times over the years, they have also been there when it was time to say goog bye. A little on tke pricy side, but worth it in the long run.
